I worked in this office from
1984 until 2003. It was never a #2 ESS but had two
#1 ESS switches installed about 1976 until converted to
#1A around 1977. The office is now a digital #5 ESS
manufactured by Lucent.
#2 ESS is only used in rural
applications and was not used except in a few outlying
offices in the Houston area, such as Barker exchange and
Langham Creek. |
